Ricky Tompkins is a photographer based in Venice, California.

After studying photography at Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, he began his career in fashion photography, which shaped his eye for composition, light, and detail.

Alongside his commercial work is a growing archive of photographs made while traveling with his wife, Kelsey. What started as images from their trips became the photographs they kept choosing to frame and live with at home.

His work captures coastlines, cities, roadside moments, architecture, and the details that make a place memorable.
